Production
Château Poulvère produces 6 different regional Bergerac A.O.C. (Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée) wines.

Monbazillac A.O.C.
Périgord’s gold, the fruit of her patience, can be drunk as an aperitif or with dessert, and partners foie gras beautifully. By laying the best vintages down, any cellar can be graced with a prestigious wine which does honour to a fine table. Serve chilled at 5° - 7°.

Monbazillac, Millennium Cuvée : Bronze Medal at Bordeaux - Wines of Aquitaine 1999.
Monbazillac Cuvée Paul : Silver Medal at the National Independent Wine Producers Competition at Epernay in 1998.
Monbazillac Cuvée Jean Borderie : Silver Medal at the National Independent Wine Producers Competition at Sancerre in 1997.
Monbazillac Traditional Cuvée : Bronze Medal at the National Independent Wine Producers Competition at Bergerac in 1996. Winner of the traditional section.

Pécharmant A.O.C.
A generous, full-bodied wine. Can be drunk from 3 years old although reaches its peak around 8 years old. Put down in good conditions it ages well for 15 years. It is a deep-coloured wine, high in tannin and accompanies red meat, game and cheese extremely well. Serve at room temperature between 16° -18°.

Bergerac Red A.O.C.
Generous with a good nose, a deep colour and a long finish. Supple and fruity, it is at its best drunk between 3 and 5 years of age. Serve at room temperature between 16° -18°.

Bergerac Rosé A.O.C.
The rosé is made from Cabernet Sauvignon and undergoes a very short vinification process. Its exuberant fruitiness makes it a wine worth discovering. Accompanies summer cooking beautifully. Serve chilled at 8° - 10°.

Bergerac Dry White A.O.C.
Made from 100% Sauvignon, this is a dry, nervy and very aromatic wine. Delightful drunk as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to seafood. Best drunk young. Serve chilled at 5° -7 °.

Côtes de Bergerac Sweet White A.O.C.
This wine is essentially produced from the Sémillon grape and is a beautiful golden colour. Aromatic freshness combines with a roundness in mouth. It can be drunk young but becomes fuller as it grows older. It makes a delightful aperitif or accompanies slightly fancy fish dishes and desserts perfectly. Serve chilled at 5°-7°.
