St Alvère in the Périgord :
the first truffle market
in France to have gone
on-line !
 


   

The vineyard has a surface area of 86 hectares.

The soil is :
• Chalky-clay for the Bergerac and Monbazillac.
• Périgord sand and gravel.
• Colluvial and solifluvial deposits for the Pécharmant.

Grape Varieties
Monbazillac : 60% Sémillon, 30% Muscadelle, 10% Sauvignon
Côtes de Bergerac Sweet White : 100% Sémillon
Bergerac Rosé : 50% Cabernet, 50% Merlot
Bergerac Dry White : 1/3 Merlot, 1/3 Cabernet Sauvignon, 1/3 Cabernet
Pécharmant : 30% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Cabernet Franc and 10% Red Côt.

Yields vary from 27 to 60 hectolitres/hectare.
