The wines resulting from noble varieties of grapes are made into wine in the wine warehouse on the property:
-Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc are the varieties used for BERGERAC RED
-Merlot, Cabernet Franc are the varieties used for BERGERAC ROSE
-Sauvignon, Semillon for COTES DE MONTRAVEL Moelleux
-Sauvignon for MONTRAVEL BLANC SEC
 

Winemaking
Our method of working is totally traditional, that is to say, without the addition of chemical or synthetic products.
For this reason, the wine that we make and age cannot be and will never be identical from one year to the next.
We are dependent on climatic hazards


AOC Bergerac Red

It is produced with 80 % Merlot (for suppleness and roundness) and 20% Cabernets Sauvignon (full-bodied and tannic). Its vilification is traditional in vats with daily pumping over up until the tannins are extracted.
Our wines are followed by our oenologist. Aging begins in cement vats then in oak barrels for 10 to 12 months according to the evolution of the wine’s structure.
The nose is complex, combining the fruitiness of the grapes and the vanilla added by the wood. In the mouth, the attack is round, then evolves in strength with good persistence reinforced by the fine oak tannins.
Its aging in a good cellar will reveal may surprises/
We put all our passion into the making and the success of our wine, which is bottled on the property. Characteristics: Garnet red colour. Elegant, warm wine. Aging in oak barrels brings a hint of wood and vanilla.


AOC Bergerac Rosé

Bergerac Rosé results from “bleeding off” 30% Cabernet Franc and 70% de Merlot.
In order for the wine to keep all its fruit, it is fermented at a low temperature.


AOC Montravel Dry White

Made of 100% Sauvignon. In order for the wine to keep all its fruit, it is fermented at a low temperature.
This wine will captivate you with its coolness and fruitiness.


AOC Côte de Montravel (a dessert wine)

Made with Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon grape varieties, It is produced in years of good maturity only to obtain the most perfect balance (alcohol and residual sugar) possible.
Very fruity nose, supple, round and very good length in mouth.
