in France to have gone
on-line !

Version Française

Jean Claude BERNARD created a vineyard in 1989 with the purchase of 4 hectares of bare land and an old building. The vineyard grew little by little to reach 11 hectares of young vines.
In 1999 the GAEC BERNARD Vineyard father and son was created
when his son Bruno purchased of five hectares of vineyard and the wine warehouse was expanded.
At present, the vineyard’s surface area of 16 hectares produces high-quality wine. It is located on the hillside overlooking the Dordogne River at the gateway of the Bordeaux region, 20 kms from Saint Emilion, in the commune of MONTCARET (Dordogne).
Part of the vineyard is planted on clay soil and the other part on clay-limestone soil.
