The Estate
In 1999 Christine Borgers, a Belgian woman, bought the Chateau du Haut Pezaud vineyard in Monbazillac, which has just over nine hectares of vines. Loving good wine and especially liquoreux, her choice was quickly focused on a wine estate located in the heart of the appellation and on the hills of Monbazillac, 1.5 km from the Château of Monbazillac and the village.

The Wines

Semillon, grey Sauvignon and Muscadelle are the blend for dry Bergerac, Côtes de Bergerac Moelleux and Monbazillac. Some wines are aged in oak barrels.
Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon are used to create Bergerac red, fruity or in oak casks, as well as Bergerac Rosé.
The wines are regularly cited in various wine guides.

Our Activities

Open all year.
From May 15 to August 31 each year, you can choose from a wide range of activities, such as walking in the vineyards and touring the cellar with the winemaker, the route is marked, wine tasting or having a picnic under the estate’s chestnut tree.
Groups are welcome by appointment.
Area for motor homes on the property.
