Situated in the
heart of the Bergerac appellation between St Foy La Grande and
Bergerac,
Château Bouffevent has
belonged to the same family for over a hundred years.
The vineyard has the advantage of being planted on the
clay-chalk hillsides of Gageac Rouillac and in the sandy-gravel
soils of Lamonzie St Martin in the Dordogne valley.
Four generations of the Pauty family have managed the vineyard
and their philosophy of putting quality first and foremost
involves meticulous work in the vineyard and in the winery.
