Commune
The commune of St Rémy has a surface area of 226 hectares and a population of 355. The school forms part of a grouped schools structure with the neighbouring commune of St Martin de Gurson.

St Martin’s school has two classes (infants, cours préparatoire and cours élémentaire 1) and St Rémy’s school has one divided into 3 sections : cours élémentaire 2, cours moyen 1 and cours moyen 2). The teacher, Mme AUZAREL Marion, has the dual role of head and teacher.

Mme Claudine Favaud is responsible for the canteen, school nursery and cleaning.
Scolary bus for the children belonging to the comunity and the lift for the children between the 2 schools is provided morning and evening by the buses 'Arrivée'
 

Amenities
The village hall, next to the town hall is available for hire.
The commune's maintenance is ensured by a part-time technical assistant.
