St Martin des Combes is situated between the RN 21 road (at the St Marnet Bridge) and the CD 21 road (St Georges de Montclar) in the canton of Villamblard.
The commune is forested and hilly and, with a surface area of 1360 hectares, counts a population of 199.

Etymology
The name ‘Combes’ means ‘valley’ in Gaulish.
