The Town hall

 

The town of Soulaures is located within the canton of Monpazier in Dordogne.
It is a member of the Monpaziérois Community of Communes and of the Greater Bergerac Area.
Its surface area is 1028 hectares, and there are 83 inhabitants
(official population on January 1, 2012).

The name in Occitan is Solaura, probably pre-Celtic: sol- (stream, brook, watercourse)
