The village of Pontours has always
been pretty but local development has made it even more so :
• The town hall has been renovated and expanded.
• The village has been redeveloped.
• The market hall created.
• Renovated the outside of the presbytery.
• Built social housing.
Another project should be born quickly :
• Building public toilets.

This partnership begun with the creation of SIVOM in 1964.
In 1993, this organisation was replaced by the District of
Cadouin which was, itself, converted into a « Community of
Communes » the 1st January 2002.
