Through the implementation of a local Agenda 21, the town of Douville has committed itself to take steps toward sustainable development in partnership with the National Association Our Village.
The objective of this initiative is to preserve and improve the living environment of the village, while maintaining and developing the local economy and solidarity in a high-quality environment.
Local Agenda 21 "Land of the Future" is an action program based on a precise inventory of the town including the projects to be implemented in the longer term.
This agenda will allow the development of alternative energy, the long-term preservation of Douville Forest Park, the establishment of intelligent drinking water management, and the implementation of many sustainable development projects;
In a nutshell: to put common sense back into the town.
