The town of Carsac de Gurson is located in the Villefranche de Lonchat district in Dordogne.
It is a member of the
Gurson Community of Communes and of the Greater Bergerac Area.
It has 204* inhabitants on a surface area of 691 hectares.

Its name in Occitan is Carsac de Gurçon. The estate of Carsius, a Gallo-Roman person’s name; Curtionem, a Gallo-Roman person’s name (derived from Curtius).
