Over the last few years Cadouin has
undergone extensive development :
• Renovation of village hall or foyer.
• Public toilets
• Development of the Tourist Information Centre and ‘Au Fil du
Temps’ premises.
• Renovation of school playground.
• Renovation of school lodgings.
• Renovation of the market hall.
Great work began :
renovation of the abbey buildings which give on to the square,
extension of the youth hostel and village centre development.

This partnership begun with the creation of SIVOM in 1964.
In 1993, this organisation was replaced by the District of
Cadouin which was, itself, converted into a « Community of
Communes » the 1st January 2002.
