Farmers Markets

Live and Eat in Rhythm with the Seasons

Bergerac Markets

Many local farmers sell their produce on the market. They are passionate about their own locally-grown production which changes with the seasons: asparagus, strawberries, grapes, apples, mushrooms, kiwis…
Rediscover lost flavours: old-fashioned 'real' bread, firm-fleshed poultry… quite enough to make any gourmet's mouth water.
Please consult the "Markets" page of the Ville de Bergerac's website for days and dates.

Pombonne Park - A large, natural space

Parks & Gardens
Over the Bergerac area, a large number of parks, squares, flowerbeds, planted-up roundabouts and alleys of trees offer lovely walks and relaxation areas. They are all maintained in an ecological fashion and beautifully integrated into Bergerac's landscape.

Pombonne Park has become Bergerac's green breathing space, covering 60 hectares of countryside. It has been developed over a long period with regard to a respect for nature and sustainable development and allows everyone to enjoy an exceptional area of relaxation and leisure whether their interests are walking - maybe following walks sign-posted with information boards - swimming in the summer or discovering flora and fauna.
