One of the smallest villages in the Dordogne, located southeast of the canton of Issigeac, near D25 that links Issigeac (5 km) to Beaumont du Périgord (10 km), the village of Bardou is situated at the top of a hill (altitude 170 metres), which overlooks the Issigeac plateau. The small valleys are partially wooded and partially a vast grain-growing area.
