In the 12th century, a parochial chapel was built in the middle of the cemetery on the left bank of the Rège, away from the monastic enclosure.

The inhabitants of the town renovated the chapel during the 1950s, and you can gaze upon Paul Becker’s stained glass windows.

The chapel still has a handsome Romanesque gate that tops a wall belfry. Under the cornice that is carried by seven modillions (ornamental brackets) carved with masks, the portal consists of three curves and a decorative moulding that descends to four small columns whose capitals are decorated with water leaves and birds.
