Origins
The church dates from the twelfth century.
What to See
Its west, Saintongeais-style façade is
remarkable: the portal is surrounded by four
archivolts, framed by two blind arches and
surmounted by seven round arches. The
triangular pediment is supported by a small
cornice with sculptured modillions. The long
nave leads to a semi-circular apse chancel.
The nave’s third bay is domed. |
