The church, a 13th century fortress straddling the enclosure wall, underwent heavy restoration work in the 19th century.
Dedicated to Saint Laurent and Saint Front, it forms a vast rectangle with six spans of diagonal ribs, lit by only a few bays, except the choir with its immense central glass window
The first four bays occupy the nave on the north wall. A chapel opens between two columns of the third bay. The fifth forms the transept and the sixth accommodates the choir.
A complex system of fortifications occupies all the high parts of the church.
The west façade is remarkable: between two square towers, it frames a complex portal with four pointed arches, dominated by a frieze carved with various themes, topped by a gallery with an openwork balustrade.
