The parish
church of
Baneuil is
an interesting building with a cupola from
the 12th century. The Romanesque-style
façade ends in a wall-belfry. The nave opens
onto a fortified court. The triumphal arch
is decorated with carved capitals. The first
capital has a person squatting between two
lions, the second has an eagle with its
wings spread, surrounded by two griffons.
A rectangular, Romanesque keep has only one
opening.
