The Dordogne
River makes splendid meanders here and has
sculpted the limestone cliffs.
Thanks to the roads that go up to the top of
the Limeuil and Trémolat meanders, the
natural view-points reveal a unique panorama
of the area. The view stretches out over 180
degrees, the two almost perfectly
symmetrical loops are connected by a
reversed third loop. Inside the loops, the
landscape of farmland reveals a mosaic of
colours.
