Group visits are led by a guide and start and finish at the reception point. The distance covered on foot is, in fact, less than 350m. The cave itself is approximately 150m long.
The beginning of the circuit provides a sort of adaptation period for visitors to get used to the dark and temperatures of 13°C and to move from the simply curious to the
spectacular.
In the same way the visitor progress through the «concretion zone», from
beautiful, but more ordinary, concretions to extremely rare, sparkling white eccentric concretions. The beauty of this underground spectacle is highlighted with ‘son and lumière’ effects specifically adapted to underground conditions.
Guides provide information about geological formations and myriad of other facts and figures about the underground world.
The reception area has a bar, a shop, a games area for children and a large covered area for relaxation.
