By car :
Access through the Dordogne Valley which links Bordeaux to Bergerac
and the tourist sites of the Périgord (Beynac, Castelnaud, La
Roque-Gageac, Sarlat). The roads are good (D25, D703, D660) and
allow easy access to the A20 motorway.
Access through the Vézère Valley (« The Prehistoric Valley »). The
confluence of the Vézère and Dordogne rivers is just a few
kilometres upstream. (Roads : D31, D703, D706).
The D31 and D710 provide access from Périgueux and the north of the
department as will soon the A89 motorway - the new link between
Bordeaux and the Massif Central.
By train :
Le Buisson de Cadouin train station for Bordeaux-Sarlat (east-west)
trains and Paris (via Périgueux) and the south of France (via Agen).
By plane :
Bergerac Roumanière Airport with Paris - Bergerac and London -
Bergerac lines.
