Creation and Direction
Gérard Guillemin
Director ; studied at the
Conservatoire de Grenoble where he gained a first. He directs
the plays, working essentially with young people. He is a
veritable creator of images, a maker of pictorial tableaux and,
as an avid history-lover, he excels in historical, visual
performances.
Administration
Christine Good
Studied at the I.F.C.A.
at Aix en Provence. Since 1981 she has dealt with the public
relations and administrative and organisational side of a
company which employs twenty part-time performers and conducts
nation wide tours and international visits (Italy 86, Quebec
90-91, England 97). Having trained with Christine Legrand and
Marc Peronne, she has also been a singer / actress since the age
of eighteen.
The Actors
Franc Soubzmaigne : Studied at the Simon Theatrical School in Paris. Worked in films
and musical comedies : « Jacquou le Croquant » by S Lorenzi and
« Hair » before joining the company in 1980.
J.B. Lableigne : Joined
the company in 1993 for « Jacquou le Croquant ». Trained at La
Gargouille stage school, he has been a full-time member of the
company since 1996. He is also responsible for the general
production of performances and is an E.R.P. specialist.
Amandine Borie : Former
student of the company’s stage school and a full-time member of
the company since 2001. She directs children’s workshops. BEATEP
theatre with the Bordeaux Théatre en Miettes. She is Christine
Good’s management and public relations assistant.
Sébastien Boudrot :
Studied at the Florent Theatrical School, worked with provincial
and Parisian theatre companies and in film before joining La
Gargouille in 1997. Particularly notable in his role as Jesus,
metamorphosed for Sganarelle ! !
Sari Breitburd : Having
acted with various theatre companies at Tours, she has been with
La Gargouille for two years and has already appeared in five
shows !
She assists with the marketing.
Marie de Oliveira :
Conservatoire of Paris Xème arrondissment . Lessons and
workshops in the Grotowsky method, modern and classical roles,
short films, television etc. She has been with the company since
1999. She was particularly praised as Esmeralda.
Lighting and Props
Agnès AUGE : Rejoined the company in 2005, assists Christine
Good in management, communication, administration and organising
all our shows and the company in general.
Eric Furet : His first
major job was with the Bataille de Castillon. As an ingenious
lighting technician and props man he has been with the company
since 1993.
Colchic : A team of
lighting and sound specialists presided over by Pierre Moreaux.
Specialists in live performances.
Audio Phil :
Sophisticated, efficient material which does justice to the
performances.
The Musicians
Bimbo Acock : Saxophonist
and composer who also plays guitar and keyboards. He has
accompanied La Gargouille’s shows since 1991. Has composed music
for Ken Russel’s films, has played with Julien Clerc etc.
Pascal Turbet :
Accordionist, composer, arranger, he has accompanied La
Gargouille’s musical productions since 1992. As a singer and
actor he plays an important role in the musical shows.
Alain Demarest : Former
drummer with Alain Guichard he has come back to his roots in the
Périgord where he has formed his own group, « Smoking Tropical »
and accompanies La Gargouille’s musical productions, in
particular « Y’aura d’la Zizque’ (‘There’ll be Music ! »). He is
also the composer of the spectacle « El Rebel »
Michel Hazé : Renowned
percussionist, composer, very involved in teaching. He
accompanies La Gargouille’s street theatre, for example «
Arlette Bitume ».
Pascal Wutrich : Awarded
a first at the Conservatoire de Paris de Percussions. He is a
composer, a member of SACEM and accompanies our musical
productions on the keyboard or percussions.
The Circus Artists
Hans : Juggler,
mono-cyclist, percussionist. He is also one of the company’s
technicians.
Nicole Robin : Juggler
and pyrotechnician. She has founded her own company of
jugglers-fire eater-theatricals called Pyrox. She joins up with
La Gargouille whenever her expertise is required - generally for
the outdoor productions.
Johanna VINA : balancing on sticks
Manon GUILLEMIN : contortionist
Wardrobe
Marine MACCARINELLI : Rejoined the company in 2005, she
takes care of creating costumes for the company’s various shows
and also manages the stock of costumes rented to the public. She
holds a C.A.P in dressmaking from the C.F.A. in Bayonne
The Sets
Marie-Laurence Lavaud :
Equally at home faced with gigantic or intimate sets, she has
been creating clever and ingenious sets for the company since
1993. She also works for the Montguyon Festival and teaches.
