A graduate of the National College for Applied Arts and Crafts
in 1990, I discovered my passion for clay at the age of nine
during a trip to Morocco. Today I divide my time between
manufacturing and teaching.
: Decorator and lighting designer for the theatre for 17
years in Paris, I became a potter through love of the woman
potter and pottery. This fascinating profession is rich in the
unexpected, and each day I am surprised to discover how much
the clay is a magnificent base for creation
Settled in the Dordogne region since 1994, our
studio-boutique-school is located in the centre of Bergerac,
opposite the town hall.
: Arts Terres presents a wide range of utilitarian,
decorative and sculptural ceramics, as unique pieces and in
small series. Stoneware, Rake and earthenware are side by side,
to the rhythm of our inspirations, our desires, or those of
The boutique is an unexpected space, recommended and noticed
by lovers of crafts. The studio is a privileged place, open to
visitors, and the school, a universe where the senses are
awakened and active.
Philosophy : Clay, this wonderful base for creation, lets itself go in
our hands, and lets us use its multiple properties. Tactile,
visual or auditory, infinitely valuable to the human being on
a daily basis, we shape it to make many hand-made objects.
Arts Terres is Caroline and Luis, it is a journey to the
