St Alvère in the Périgord :
the first truffle market
in France to have gone
on-line !

Version Française

DANOS Brothers Foie Gras farm is situated in a BEAUTIFUL and GASTRONOMICALLY - renowned area, has been established for 30 years, and combines local skills and knowledge with an EEC-approved kitchen.
Family know-how is put to good use for the pleasure of the consumer.

In 1968, Jean and Robert DANOS built their preserve business on a splendid spot above the « Cingle de Trémolat ». It was originally a small, family-run structure but by 1989 ever-increasing customer demand could no longer be satisfied by such a small enterprise and a much larger kitchen-laboratory was built. The process and ethos, however, remained artisanal.
Fundamental to the business is the fact that all cramming poultry are fed exclusively with our own home-produced fodder - something which can only be beneficial to the finished product.
