New to Bergerac, Vu d'ensemble, a fair-trade boutique, located at 19 Rue des Fontaines in Bergerac’s old town, welcomes you Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 and from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Fair trade originates from a simple, realistic concept: “Rather than give financial aid to third-world countries, it is better to give them the means to develop themselves.” This concept of trade also draws its legitimacy from the 1948 Declaration of Human Rights, which states, “Anyone who works has the right to fair payment, thus assuring him and his family an existence in accordance with human dignity.”
