Established in 1980, the company mainly manufactured traditional and triangular-shaped, laminated wood roof timbers. Later it developed a plywood box section casing for roof trusses and in 1999 invented and patented a system of triangular purlins.

The Triangular Jappy Beam won the National Innovation Prize in 2002.
