  Alta´r has a very wide range of dried medicinal, aromatic and culinary herbs. Below is a selection accompanied by a list of their properties.

Globe Artichoke :
Cynara scolymus
Diuretic, rejuvenates tissues, stimulates bile secretion (cholesterol, liver deficiency).
Hawthorn :
Crataegus oxyacantha
Reduces high blood pressure, antispasmodic, regulates and calms the heart (palpitations, insomnia, menopausal problems, ź ageing heart ╗).
Heather :
Erica cinerae
Calluna vulgaris
Diuretic, urinary antiseptic, relieves rheumatic pain (cystitis, oliguria, rheumatism).
German Chamomile :
Matricaria chamomilla
Sedative, antispasmodic, intestinal tonic, relieves period pain.
Roman Chamomile :
Anthemis nobilis
Antispasmodic, analgesic, stomachic, vermifuge.
External usage : antiseptic.
Dog Rose :
Rosa canina
Astringent, antiscorbutic, tonic, a rich source of vitamins. Valuable in cases of anaemia, asthenia, diarrhoea etc. and for growing children.
Echinacea :
Echinacea angustifolia
Antibiotic, anti-viral, promotes the healing of wounds, cleanses the liver and kidneys, stimulates the immunity system.
Lavender :
Lavandula officinalis
Antispasmodic, soothing, antiseptic (digestive problems, migraines, fevers due to an emotional shock).
Wild Mallow :
Malva sylvestris
Emollient, softens mucus membranes, laxative (works well for children).
Lemon Balm :
Melissa officinalis
Antispasmodic, excellent anti-depressive, (neuralgia, nervous breakdowns, anxiety, insomnia, stomach cramps).
Mint : Tonic, stimulant, antispasmodic, digestive.
Peppermint (Mentha piperata) : Very stimulating.
Spearmint (Spicata) : Gentler properties.
Lemon Mint (Citrata) : Gentler properties.
Stinging Nettle :
Urtica dioica
Diuretic, depurative, anti-anaemic, anti-diarrhoea.
External usage : rheumatism.
Passionflower :
Passiflora incarnata
Sedative, antispasmodic (neurasthenia, insomnia).
Wild Pansy :
Viola tricolor
Excellent depurative, diuretic, anti-rheumatic, low blood pressure.
Pine :
Pinus sylvestris
Antiseptic for the respiratory tract, expectorant, stimulant.
Horsetail :
Equisetum arvense
Remineralizing (aids the absorption of calcium), helps in the formation of red blood cells, diuretic, depurative, eliminates lead from the organism.
Meadowsweet :
Spiraea ulmaria
Reduces and controls fever, anti-inflammatory, powerful diuretic, soothes pain (rheumatism, gout, calculi, cellulite, fevers and pains).
Sage :
Salvia officinalis
