Rabaska
Canoe is a non-profit association, created in 2009 by
enthusiasts of open-air activities, and canoeing in
particular, eager to share their passion with as wide a
public as possible, the uninitiated or persons with special
needs.
In 2007, we built a Rabaska, nine metres long and 1.4 metres
wide, that can take 15 persons on board in total safety.
It was launched on June 17, 2007, during Open Air Sports Day in
Périgueux.
The
association currently offers:
- Discovery of the river and its surroundings (numerous species
of animals, villages, chateaux...) as -
Discovery classes with young scholars -
Family or leisure centre outings with picnic and swimming -
Bivouac outings
- Sports days, for example: -
The Argentat marathon, 130 km -
The Bordeaux Crossing, 12 km -
The Dordogne Périgord marathon, 35 km
