St Alvère in the Périgord :

Version Française

The bonds joining our towns are founded in a dynamic mutual interest but their real value lies in their human side.

In all areas of life, exchanges and relationships are based on feelings and the rapport we have with the other.

It is the combination of such factors which determine the intensity of a relationship and the quality of mutual help.

HISTORY OF THE TWIN TOWNS

The charter was signed by Monsieur Alain Brien, Mayor of Repentigny and Monsieur Daniel Garrigue, Mayor of Bergerac on 21 March 1997 in the presence of Marcel Masse the then General Representative of Quebec.

The TWIN TOWN COMMITTEE (an association created under the 1901 non-profit making association’s law) was founded on 02 April 1997.
