Sauteloup is an
18th-century farmhouse situated in the beautifully preserved
natural environment of the Béssède forest at Le Buisson de
Cadouin, and is surrounded by footpaths for ramblers,
horse-riders and mountain-bikers. It is classed as
three-star and sleeps 11 persons
(five in the main body of the house and six in the former barn).
The house is set in two hectares of enclosed land and has a 9m x
4.5m secured swimming pool. |

Sauteloup straddles the Périgord Pourpre and the Périgord Noir
and its fantastic geographical situation guarantees many jaunts
along the Vézère River - the cradle of mankind - and visits to
the medieval châteaux dotted along the Dordogne River and the
bastide towns which hark back so clearly to the Hundred Years
War. |
