It is situated between the Dordogne and the Gironde départements in a culturally interesting area.
It is near Bergerac, tobacco capital and land of Cyrano, in the heart of the prestigious vineyards of Bergerac, Montravel, Pécharmant, Saussignac and Monbazillac.

Bergerac hosts many summer festivities and boasts many places of interest - not least, of course, the Dordogne River with its gabares and canoes.
