This region
continues her romance with its many chateaux (many dating from
medieval times), excellent wine (the famous Bordeaux, St
Emilion, Bergerac, Agen and Cahors apellations lie within this
region), many theatres and concerts are held in even the
smallest villages of the area. Exhibits of local and regional
artists are everywhere.
Because Biron is on the border of several regions in the
Aquitaine, chateaux and historical sites in the Lot et
Garonne, as well as those in the Gironde are also within a
short journey.
