The Hotel Pays
de Montaigne is located in Montcaret, between Bordeaux and
Bergerac, on the departmental road D936, at the entrance to the
Périgord Pourpre (the Dordogne Valley and its vineyards).
The new hotel has 30 rooms on the ground floor, two of
which can accommodate persons in wheelchairs. The rooms are air
conditioned and have a shower.
A night watchman keeps an eye on the parking at night.
The reception desk is open 24 hours a day.
Restaurants are nearby.
The hotel is near the Château of Michel de Montaigne and the
Villa Gallo-Romaine.
