The private swimming pool (14m x 5m), tennis court and shady forest footpaths should open the visitor’s appetite for breakfast or dinner, both of which are served in the shade of a parasol or under the chestnut tree in the summer and by the open fire in the autumn.

    Food and Wine
Within a radius of 25km it is possible to taste and compare wines from the Bergerac, Montravel, Bordeaux, Entre-Deux-Mers, Côtes de Francs, Côtes de Castillon, St Emilion, Pomerol and satellite appellations.

Nearby one can also find eel, lamprey and allis shad from the Dordogne and Isle rivers, sturgeon and caviar from Montpon-Ménestérol, Trappe d’Echourgnac cheese, Pizou goat’s cheese, St Emilion ‘Canelet’ cakes and macaroons and a wide range of foie gras, confit and cèpe producers.
 
       
    Local produce can be bought from a market every morning - Monday at Castillon, Tuesday at Villefranche, Wednesday at Montpon, Friday at Libourne, Saturday at Sainte Foy and Sunday at Saint Seurin sur l’Isle.
