St Alvère in the Périgord :
the first truffle market
in France to have gone
on-line !

An earth in Love…
According to our Ancients, they say it « in Love » as it was sticking to their boots!
A characteristic soil from its history, situated in continuity of St Emilion and Castillon vineyards, is clay-limestone and silt-limestone, that express itself in a lovely way through our wines, with a hint of know-low and fine aromas and flavours subtleties. Up to you now to judge it…!

The vine

Spread out on 3 villages, it has got a yield of 3500 to 5000 vines per hectare, with specific parcels according to the “Cru”.
The vineyard regional grape variety is shared in a harmonious way in white and red.
Mainly Merlot (our favourite!) as red grapes, for its fruity and round style without equal ; the Cabernet Sauvignon for its texture and complexity with the oak barrel ; to finish with the Cabernet Franc and Malbec or Côt for the original touch.
The principle white grapes are Sauvignon Blanc, dominant in the area, for its aromatic characteristics and capacity to limit oxidation; the Sémillon for its round and sweetish style, with a drop of Muscadelle for the spices.
Add to this the know low of men life, the family secret of fabrication and you get…round, fruity, smooth wines for the pleasure of this dear palate!

Our principles
Respect the nature of the wine :

• First by the vine, using wich respect the environment and its flora, its soil and characteristic.
• Also by the vinification that is done, for each appellation or colour, in a traditional way, for the natural and subtle expression of the primary aromas of the wine ; and the oaky style to develop complex and elegant aromas with ageing aptitudes.

Doing everything ourselves !
Everything is done indeed in the estate, as a team (11 persons), for a clean, organised, consistent and reactive work. From taking care of the vine, the vinification, or bottling to commercialising the final product… with the smile!
