HAUT-MONTRAVEL Traditional Style

Medium Sweet and so light

Regional grape varieties 70% Sauvignon Blanc
30% Sémillon
A hint of Muscadelle

Soil silt-limestone

Bottle Montravel Traditional
“In Monte Revelationem”
75 cl, 37.5cl

To make a wine sweet, the winegrower has to wait for the overrippening of the grapes that will dry a little off the grains and condense the sugar.
We pick them a week after the end of the harvest of the other grapes.
We won’t wait too long for the overrippening to maintain the wine as fruity as the dry one, but a touch sweeter…!
At the end, you get a really light refreshing medium sweet wine, full of dried fruit, ripe aromas as peach, almonds, honey, sultanas, white flowers, in a very slight way.
The mix of a subtle sweetness and crispness will love spicy food as curry, char grilled scallops, lobster, seasonal fruit mousse or salad.

* To enjoy young for its delicate aromas

MONTRAVEL DRY Traditional Style

Simple and so nice…

Regional grape varieties 90% Sauvignon Blanc
10% Sémillon / Muscadelle

Soil silt-limestone

Bottle Montravel Traditional
“In Monte Revelationem”
75 cl, 37.5cl

The Montravel dry white wine must respect almost the same decrees as the red one.
- The regional grape variety has to be minimum 25% Sauvignon Blanc
As it decreases the over-oxidation of white wines
- Have a maximum of 13% alcoholic strength.
- Forbidden to put the grape variety on the front label.

The Sauvignon Blanc is characteristic for its exotic aromas. The Montravel is crisp, supple and well structured. It is a really refreshing wine.
Lovely as an aperitif, to start a meal of 1001 flavours. Yes this wine loves Fusion Food as its blend of Muscadelle brings out spice and minerality. It get on well with Tapas, seafood, in the shade…

* A very lively dry white wine to be drunk really chilled for a maximum of freshness and aromas
