Josette, Martine, Christian and Jean-Marie Vallette are
happy to welcome you in Fougueyrolles the week from 9am to
12am and 2pm to 5pm. On appointement for week-ends and
groups.
Vallette, a
name that echoes since already more than a century…
Here are more than 30 years that the brothers Christian and
Jean-Marie took over the flame from their father Ulysse. It’s
with Tenacity, Consistency and Passion that they develop the
range by planting red grape varieties and purchase brand new
technical equipment.
Started on 1888 with a 6 ha vineyard of sweet wines, the
Vallette vineyards have today 45 ha, spread out on 3 villages
(Fougueyrolles, Vélines, Nastringues), in 2 sites:
Roque-Peyre and Riffaud.
The Vallette family produce today 300 000 bottles in the
appellations Bergerac in red, rosé, Montravel in
red, dry white, Haut Montravel in mellow, and Vin de
Pays.
Where can
you find our wines ?
• Direct sale from the Estate, since the two brothers manage
the business.
• Traditional sector sales: restaurants / hotels of Dordogne
mainly, cellars in the whole France ;
• Supermarket sales under the name of Château Riffaud, in the
whole France ;
• Export chiefly in Europe : Benelux, Pays-Bas, prospecting in
progress for England and Germany ; and Japan. .
