St Alvère in the Périgord :
the first truffle market
in France to have gone
on-line !

Version Française

CHÂTEAU LA RAYRE’s vines are planted on chalk-clay slopes south of Monbazillac in the commune of Colombier, and reunite the best climatic and geological factors for the creation of a fine vineyard.

The property was only acquired by Vincent VESSELLE but already benefits from a good reputation in the area as well as in Holland and Belgium.

Thanks to his experience and knowledge M. Vesselle is eager to safeguard - and improve - the quality of CHÂTEAU LA RAYRE’s wines.

All Château La Rayre wines have been generously rewarded in different competitions (Concours Général Agricole de Paris, Concours des Vins de la Région de  Bergerac, Concours des Vignerons Indépendants de France, Challenge International des Vins, Vinalies Nationales) and cited in numerous guides: Hachette, Revue des Vins de France, Dussert-Gerber.
