Bergerac Red Oak-aged :
• Bergerac Red is produced from :
70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon
• The grapes are destemmed and put in tank for a long period of skin contact which produces a robust, full-bodied, fruity wine.
• A 6-month period of elevage in French barrels or in tank.
• Bottled on the property after 18 or 24 months.
• To be drunk :
This is a wine to be laid down ; it can age for 6 or 7 years, sometimes longer. Leave to breathe for an hour before serving and drink with red meat, game or cheese.




Bergerac Red 2003 : It was mentioned in the 2000 and 2006 Hachette Wine Guide.
