St Alvère in the Périgord :
the first truffle market
in France to have gone
on-line !

Version Française

Château Les Fontenelles is situated in a picturesque region of the Périgord, south-west of Bergerac, near the village of St Julien d’Eymet.
Authentic, generous and natural... qualities and values which Château Les Fontenelles’ wines share with its owner. Or, rather, owners as three generations of the Bourdil family are, or have been, involved in the vineyard.
Christiane and Jean-Maurice Bourdil had always delivered their grape harvest to the wine co-operative but when, in 1998, their son Nicolas joined them on the property they decided, with years of experience behind, to invest in the creation of a winery on the premises. The winery itself became Nicolas’ domain and by 2000 his skill in producing wines representative of the terroir was recognised in the form of a silver medal at Challenge Blaye Bourg for the red.
Jean-Maurice Bourdil is in charge of viticulture and lavishes the vines with care and attention.
