Age of the vines : Our
vineyard is replanted on a regular basis ; every year the
density of a particular parcel is raised (to approximately
4000-5000 plants per hectare).
Grape Varieties :
We only produce AOC Bergerac Red and naturally the grape
varieties reflect this with 70% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc and
15% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Vineyard working
methods : For several
years now we have used only sustainable agricultural methods
(use of sprays/insecticides etc. are limited a strictly
justifiable minimum with every decision to use such products
being weighed against the risk of not employing them.)
Our vineyard working methods are traditional and include
manual desuckering, leaf removal and crop thinning.
