Wine Growers
The vineyard Château Miaudoux is located on the sunny hillsides
of the Saussignac appellation area. Farmers Gérard and Nathalie
Cuisset have operated it as an organic agricultural exploitation
since 1986.
“Gérard Cuisset is not only a skilled wine maker, but he belongs
to the rare race of those who dream of their wine before
producing it. But, without idealism, he would not succeed in
extracting from his vineyard the refinement of texture that is
so dazzling in recent vintages.” |

Plum Growers
In addition to their job as wine growers, Gerard and Nathalie
cultivate nine hectares of plum trees on the estate. The grafted
plums, gathered from August 15 to September 15, are dried to
become “Agen prunes” (pruneaux d'Agen). You can eat them warm
during the season, and all year long, packaged without
preservatives.
Tourism in the Wine Growing Environment
You can stay in the very heart of the Miaudoux vineyard, in
Nathalie and Gerard’s country holiday cottage. They offer
“vineyard environment discovery” sojourns for people who are
passionate about wine or for wine lovers who want to discover
grape harvests and wine making, to learn the art of tasting from
grape juice to wine, and also to walk on the many hiking trails.
