The village of Sainte Foy de Longas is situated in the canton of Sainte Alvère in Dordogne.
It is a member of both the Community of Communes of Entre Dordogne et Louyre and that of the Greater Bergerac Area.
It has a surface area of 1618 hectares and there are 245 inhabitants
(official population on January 1, 2012).

The name in Occitan is Senta Fe de Long Ga : Sancta Fides (Sainte Foy) ; Occitan long ga (long gué).
