What to
see :
Castle ruins, Romanesque church, renovated communal springs at
Moutard and Touron.
The meandering, shady river Dropt is a lovely spot for anglers
and picnickers alike.
Hiking trails.
Large irrigation lake.
Old tools of long-disappeared trades and crafts decorate the
church square.
Festivities :
For years and years the village has held its annual fete on
the weekend following the 15th of August. The fête goes on for
2 days and includes a second-hand market, a dance, fireworks,
a meal (a good pot chicken) and every year has a different
theme : old-fashioned corn threshing, literary competition,
‘boules’ competition, scarecrows etc.
The village fête provides the perfect opportunity for the
young - and not so young - to meet in a fun atmosphere where
genuine social bonds are forged.
