Razac d’Eymet and Fonroque belong to an inter-commune school group syndicate which has enabled the infant and primary schools to stay open. All facilities are provided by the parents (after-school crèche, school transport, canteen).

 

Town Planning

The commune is expanding, soon it will have new houses to rent out and it hopes, in this manner, to draw young families to the village and help perpetuate the village way of life.
New drainage and sanitation systems have recently been installed, improving the living standards of some inhabitants. One of the local council’s priorities is to keep its rural population and draw in new, young people.

Four council-housing, (Bergerac administered) 1-bedroomed flats will be finished during the year 2004 completing the "Le Bosquet" housing estate behind the school.
