Situated on a
hilly plateau overlooking the Dropt valley to the south of the
Dordogne, this small village borders on the Lot et Garonne
département and counts 282 inhabitants.
The river Dropt and its tributaries define the village
boundaries. A 13th - 14th century fortress (only a few ruins
remain) and a
Romanesque church were built on Gallo-Roman remains.
