Noteworthy
sites
- The historical museum about paper at the Rouzique Mill,
managed by the Association to Safeguard Couze’s Former Paper
Mills and Archeological Heritage (“Sauvegarde des Anciennes
Papeteries et du Patrimoine Archéologique de Couze” (SAPPAC)).
It’s watermark museum is unique in France, with the arms of
Amsterdam, among others. Craftsmen produce rag paper there.
- Saint Front de Colubri chapel, situated on the promontory of
the same name with a breathtaking upstream view of the
Dordogne river. Some of the chapel’s foundations date from the
8th century; some of the chapel dates from the 11th century
with exceptional roman capitals.
Manor
- The Manor,
property of the commune, is also remarkable. It is situated
near the Rouzique; together they make a romantic ensemble. It
is dominated by Mont d'Onel castle, a private property where
ostriches are raised.
Finally, the magnificent view point of Tertre du Château of
the famous Jean de la Salle.
Hiking trails
The GR6, that leads from Bordeaux to Rocamadour, passes
through our commune.

The Festival Committee organises evening walks in summer.
Votive festival the first weekend in August with fireworks.
