The commune of Campsegret is situated in the canton of Villamblard, 12km north of Bergerac on the N21 road.
It has a surface area of 1333 hectares and a population of 369.


 

Etymology :
‘Segret’ or ‘Segeridus’ was doubtless the name of the estate’s owner.
The village was built on the confluence of two streams which led into canals supplying several mills.
