The 1.3 hectare
garden was originally intended to be a
botanical garden but over time has been
transformed into an innovative and
individual landscape.
There are nearly 200 varieties of Bamboo and
more than 300 Graminaceae cultivars varying
in height from a couple of centimetres to 4m
tall.
Lovely walks can
be taken through different bamboo landscapes
and there is a nursery where advice from a
specialist about creating your own botanical
garden is available.
